Monroe County, Michigan, has several notable cemeteries, including Woodland Cemetery (also known as Grove Cemetery and Woodlawn Cemetery), St. Joseph Cemetery, and Roselawn Memorial Park. Woodland Cemetery, located in the city of Monroe, is one of Michigan's oldest public cemeteries, with burials dating back to the American Revolutionary War. St. Joseph Cemetery, also in Monroe, has been in continuous operation since around 1801. Roselawn Memorial Park, located in LaSalle, is a non-profit cemetery with a crematory and various burial options. 

Wayne County

Wayne County, Michigan, has numerous cemeteries, both large and small, offering a variety of options for burial and memorialization. Some well-known cemeteries include Elmwood Cemetery (Detroit), Woodlawn Cemetery (Detroit), Mt. Olivet Cemetery (Detroit), and Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery (Huron Township). There are also numerous smaller, historic cemeteries like Shearer Cemetery (Plymouth Township) and Cherry Hill Cemetery (Canton).
